JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Ensure that all personnel, in their own language, understand
HSE Policies during induction training.
Help Site Supervisors and ensure they undertake toolbox talks
to their respective personnel every week and maintain records
of these sessions. Organize the inspection of ladders, power
tools and construction machinery I plant on a regular basis and
maintain record of each inspection. Conduct daily safety
inspections with subcontractors of areas of responsibility.
Ensure site is kept clean and clear from all flammable /
combustible materials. Ensure all fire and emergency
appliances are in good condition and inspected. Keep records
of maintenance for all fire I emergency appliances.
Inspect equipment, tools, and working conditions to
ensure safety of personnel. Inspect safety belts,
ladders, ropes, rubber goods, and tools and replace
those not meeting safety requirements. Observe
personnel at work and reports failure to follow safety
precautions, i.e. failure to use goggles, rubber gloves,
and other safety devices. Examine conditions of
scaffoldings and recommend use of braces to prevent
incidents. Give safety instructions to personnel on a
daily basis, highlighting the possible hazards in that
day’s work and the precautions to be taken I observed.
Take suitable corrective measures on observations
made by the Safety Engineer of the site.
MINIMUM 5 YRS OF EXP WITH ATLEAST 2 YRS IN
CONSTRUCTION (HIGH RISE BUILDING ETC).
OSHA 30 -NASP-FIRST AID-FIRE FIGHTING
IOSH MANAGING SAFETY
NEBOSH IGC
GOOD SPOKEN WRITTEN OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE
IS MUST. ARABIC LANGUAGE IS AN ADVANTAGE.
