Arabia is urgenlty looking for the below following personnels:
DCS Operator Polypropylene
Diploma degree in Chemical or equivalent knowledge of chemical plant operations.
Minimum of 5 years work experience in Polypropylene (PP) – Spheripol and
Spherizone Technology by LyondellBasell is a must.
• Monitor acceptance of new equipment, operate and maintain plant facility
equipment’s within the procedures, machinery manuals and work instruction
manuals with the objective of operating and maintaining equipment.
● JRE26667 Shift Supervisor Polypropylene JRE26666
Diploma degree in Chemical or equivalent knowledge of chemical plant operations
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in Polypropylene (PP) – Spheripol and
Spherizone Technology by LyondellBasell is a must.
Supervise, review and monitor all aspects of Operations and liaise closely with
interfacing departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations and total
reliability of the plant
• Ensure compliance and commitment to EHSS and regulatory requirements within
plant assigned area.
Monitor any deviations in normal operations activities and trouble shoot operational
problems in order to generate quick and prompt decisions making solutions to
resolve operating problems and meet the shift production targets
• Evaluate work procedures and standards deployed at work sites to ensure adherence
to quality and safety standards
• Facilitate, monitor and ensure proper actions are taken based on approved standard
operating procedures for the safe shutdown and start up in specific areas of the
plant
Exercises responsibility for safety of specific areas of the assigned plant. Includes
operation of the assigned plant in a safe reliable manner, assurance of housekeeping,
safety and safe work practices in area of responsibility
Develop weekly report and submit to Supervisor activities on equipment utilization,
usage and maintenance in order to update the supervisors with the information
on the equipment condition and utilization.

• Troubleshoots problems which occur in the normal operation of the assigned plant.
Includes identifying the problem and its sources, determining the best solution
and carrying out its implementation
• Provide necessary support and assistance to the emergency team during any plant
emergencies.
• Organize, schedule and supervise the activities and work of a small team of
subordinates to ensure all work is carried out in an efficient and procedurally
compliant manner
