DESIGN ENGINEER – HEAT EXCHANGER
Qualifications & Years of Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree im Thermal Engineering.
• Minimum 5-8 years in Engineering industry (with
Fabrication back ground) with hands on experience in
carrying out process/thermal design of heat exchangers,
review of process parameters & optimization
• Mechanical design of Heat exchangers & pressure vessels.
• Exposure to PV Elite software and Knowledge of
International Engineering practices
Process Design of Various types of Heat Exchangers based on the client provided
process data/details.
O Responsibility involves review of client process details, P&l study, Process/thermal
Design of Heat exchangers using HTRI software, Optimization of heat exchangers
during bid stage. Selection of exchangers, materials (tubes, tube sheets, baffles etc.)
tube layouts etc. including process calculations.
Mechanical designs calculations, material specifications and purchase requisition
etc will be an added advantage.
Coordination with inter-disciplines, other departments and external agencies like
client, consultants.
Preparation/Review of techno-commercial estimations for static equipment’s,
including Heat Exchangers.
