URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR
LANDSCAPING PROJECT IN QATAR
•IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN:
• Min. 3 yrs. exp.as Irrigation/Machinery Technician in private garden /
public park/ Municipality Garden / Industrial complex or related field.
• Have basic knowledge in dripper irrigation systems and micro sprinkler
systems, mechanical, and electrical.
• Ability to safely operate and repair small landscape equipment: hedge
trimmer, lawn mower, chain saw, backpack sprayer, blowers, etc.
• Should be able to install and repair a complete dripper irrigation system
and micro irrigation system including electrical items.
• Ability to maintain existing dripper irrigation system and micro irrigation
system including its electrical items: flushing tube line periodically, flush
and clean filter screen periodically, change or remove drippers/emitters
or micro sprinklers as needed, clean water tank periodically, etc.
• Should be able to read and speak English.
• Qatar driver’s license is mandatory with a good driving record.
PALM TREE/HEDGE TRIMMER SPECIALIST
• Min. 3 years experience in Date Palm Cultivation in private garden/public
park/municipality garden/industrial complex.
• Ability to safely operate small landscape equipment: hedge trimmer, lawn
mower, chain saw, backpack sprayer, blowers, etc.
• Should be able to install and repair a complete dripper irrigation system
and micro irrigation system including electrical items.
• Ability to safely execute all activities related to trimming, pruning, thinning
and cutting of palms, trees, shrubs, hedges, ground covers and mowing
of lawn/grasses.
• He should be able to cut and create topiaries on edges, shrubs and trees.
• Ability to safely execute all activities related to Date Palm Cultivation and
Maintenance (planting, irrigating, pruning, fertilizing, pollinating, fruit
thinning, bunches arrangement and covering, harvesting, pest and
disease control, offshoot/sucker propagation and removal for new
planting).
• Should be able to read and speak English,
• Qatar driver’s license is mandatory with a good driving record.
.GARDENERS
• Min. 2 years’ experience as a gardener in private garden/public
park/municipality garden/industrial complex.
• Have a basic knowledge of horticulture practices (land preparation,
planting, watering, staking, pruning, trimming, thinning, deadheading,
fertilizing, pest and disease control, weeding, harvesting).
• Ability to safely operate small landscape equipment: hedge trimmer, lawn
mower, chain saw, backpack sprayer, blowers, etc.
• Carry out all land preparation activities: hoeing, grading, leveling, and soil
mixing, using hoe, shovel, fork, and rake.
• Should be able to communicate in English.
NURSERYMAN
• Min. 2 years experience as a Nursery Man in a private or commercial
Nursery industries/Garden Center/Botanical Garden.
• Have a basic knowledge of horticulture practices (soil preparation,
planting, watering, staking, pruning, trimming, thinning, deadheading,
fertilizing, pest and disease control, weeding, harvesting).
• He shall be able to propagate plants with common propagation technique
(sowing, cutting, grafting, layering, sapling, splitting, etc.)
• Should be able to communicate in English.
